With a legacy of dedication to service and excellence, HMSHost offers extensive resources, comprehensive training, and numerous career advancement opportunities to its employees. The company prides itself on fostering a culture of engagement, appreciation, inclusion, and support, helping associates thrive both professionally and personally. The company maintains competitive wages, a robust benefits package, and a focus on recognizing outstanding performance, all of which contribute to an inspiring workplace.
The Manager II (MGRII) position at HMSHost is a pivotal role within the company’s operational structure, especially located at the Denver International Airport. This role is designed to support branch management by tactically implementing complex quick-service restaurant (QSR) or casual dining operations. The Manager II ensures the restaurant is clean, fully staffed, and operates smoothly according to high operational standards. This role involves executing daily opening, operation, and closing checklists and procedures, supervising restaurant associates, ensuring compliance with safety and adult beverage policies, and maintaining visual stock and cleanliness standards.
An integral part of this role involves participation in hiring, training, scheduling, and managing staff, as well as enforcing mandatory rest breaks and meal periods to maintain associate well-being and compliance. The Manager II also oversees ordering, receiving goods, processing invoices, cash handling, and maintaining security policies consistently. Emphasis is placed on wellness, safety, and health standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including HACCP standards. This position reports to the General Manager, Director of Operations, or a Multi-Unit Manager II, and involves working varied and rotating shifts to support operations during all business day parts including opening, peak periods, and closing hours.
HMSHost emphasizes the importance of the Manager II being a dependable leader who is proactive, flexible, and deeply committed to creating a positive work atmosphere where associates feel valued and guests receive outstanding service. This non-exempt position requires a strong operational mindset blended with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and a focus on practical outcomes that enhance the overall hospitality experience. The role offers an hourly wage ranging from $25.51 to $31.17, reflecting the significance and expectations of the responsibilities.
Joining HMSHost as a Manager II means being part of a diverse and inclusive team that values reliability, ethical behavior, and a dedication to service excellence in a fast-paced environment. If you are passionate about hospitality, enjoy leading by example, and are ready to grow your career in a supportive and dynamic company, this position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.
