Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years food and beverage experience
- Minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and policy documents
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Ability to handle cash responsibly and securely
- Familiarity with scheduling and staffing operations
Job Duties
- Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures
- Assist AGM/GM in managing by supervising day-to-day activities of associates within a defined restaurant or group
- Participate in the interview process, provide input in hiring, recommend termination, advancement, promotion, or other status changes
- Assign work tasks and prepare schedules ensuring all shifts are covered
- Ensure associates take all mandated rest breaks and meal periods
- Maintain clean, stocked, and visually appealing display areas
- Monitor and ensure all equipment is in good working order
- Operate cash register and void transactions as needed following cash handling policies
- Monitor compliance with wellness and safety procedures, build awareness and report safety concerns
- Place orders, receive goods, and process invoices
- Maintain current contact information for all associates in the restaurant
- Understand and perform all health and safety activities as specified in the Manager’s Guide to Associate Health and Safety
