  • must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Supervise fellow coworkers while they work
  • monitor performance and ensure compliance with company and safety policies
  • delegate tasks appropriately
  • follow the steps outlined in the DHC Training Program to learn and train new skills, duties, and responsibilities
  • communicate to immediate supervisor when additional training guidance is needed
  • conduct required Ops Walks and Q&A checks to correct areas of opportunity
  • organize shift schedules and monitor attendance, tardiness, and time off
  • assign duties to employees based on roles and skills
  • greet guests and serve food and beverages with a positive attitude
  • ensure team members work together to prepare menu items following cooking instructions and safety procedures
  • use kitchen machinery such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, and warmers
  • ensure restaurant cleanliness by delegating clearing tables, sweeping floors, washing and sanitizing utensils, and servicing restrooms
  • handle guests’ concerns and complaints professionally
  • maintain a neat and tidy appearance following uniform policy
  • provide direction, supervision, and feedback to maintain productivity and morale
  • communicate team member performance to management and address issues
  • train new and current team members
  • balance cash drawers and prepare cash deposits
  • enforce rules and directions from management
  • plan and implement daily operational routines and activities
  • complete administrative duties and paperwork
  • supervise closing and opening activities
  • establish an environment of trust for open communication
  • role model positive business and personnel practices
  • ensure all abide by company policies
  • follow guidelines for food and cash controls and cost control
  • support restaurant management goals and directives
