Although this franchise operates under the McDonald's brand, it is a separate company and employer from McDonald's USA, which means that all employment-related decisions such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are exclusively managed by the franchisee. McDonald's USA has no involvement in these matters at this particular location. This distinction also means that the franchisee, not McDonald's USA, will be the employer for anyone hired at this restaurant.
