The franchisee holds a license to utilize McDonald's logos and food products but operates as an independent company responsible for all employment practices including hiring, firing, scheduling, supervision, and staffing. McDonald's USA is not involved in employment decisions or procedures for this role, which means your employment contract, responsibilities, and advancement opportunities will be managed solely by the franchisee.
