This job opportunity is offered by an independent, locally owned franchise of The McDonald’s Corporation. This franchisee operates a McDonald’s restaurant using the established brand's logos and food products, but is a completely separate company and employer distinct from The McDonald’s Corporation or McDonald’s USA. As such, all employment matters—including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling—are handled directly by the franchisee. This position is for the role of Shift Manager, a key leadership job within the restaurant. Shift Managers play an essential role in delivering a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience each day. The role involves leading a team of crew members and other managers on shift, overseeing food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. Shift Managers are responsible for planning each shift, monitoring performance, taking corrective action as needed, and ensuring that all company standards are met or exceeded. They communicate effectively with the upcoming shift manager and help prepare future leaders by coaching and providing clear direction.

As a Shift Manager, you will be managing critical aspects such as food safety protocols, internal communication among team members, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, quality food production, and exceptional customer service. You will also ensure safety and security standards are upheld, handle scheduling responsibilities, and assist in training crew to build a strong, competent team.
