Job Description

This job opportunity is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use the renowned McDonald's brand, logos, and food products. Unlike McDonald's USA, which is a separate and distinct entity, this franchisee independently manages all employment aspects at their restaurant. The franchisee is solely responsible for hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling their employees, ensuring a locally managed workplace that upholds the high standards associated with the McDonald's brand.

The position available is that of a Shift Manager within the restaurant. This role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional customer experience by leading shifts that guarantee fast, accurate, and friendly service. The Shift Manager is entrusted with a variety of responsibilities, including planning and execution during shifts, team leadership, maintaining quality and cleanliness standards, and ensuring safety and security in the restaurant environment. It is a dynamic role ideally suited for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings, enjoy working as part of a team, and seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Shift Managers at this franchise play a critical leadership role, often serving as the point person to motivate and guide crew members and other managers throughout their shifts. They help maintain the high standards of food safety, ensure clear internal communication, manage inventory, oversee daily maintenance, and coordinate scheduling and training needs. The role offers an excellent career path with opportunities for advancement supported by solid training and career development programs.

Furthermore, the franchisee demonstrates a strong commitment to its employees by providing a flexible schedule, paid sick leave, comprehensive training programs, free uniforms, and meals during work shifts. Additionally, the franchise supports continuing education by offering up to $3000 per year in college tuition assistance to eligible employees, enhancing their long-term career prospects. The combination of meaningful work, supportive management, and tangible benefits makes this position a satisfying choice for candidates seeking a fulfilling career in the restaurant and hospitality industry.

Candidates should be ready to embrace the energetic environment characteristic of McDonald's restaurants, focusing on quality food production, exceptional customer service, and teamwork. Prior leadership experience, preferably in restaurant, retail, or hospitality settings, is favorable but candidates with a passion to learn and grow are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for the manager role. This position offers an inspiring environment where employees can build valuable skills, enjoy a supportive team, and pursue career advancement in one of the world’s most recognized food service brands.
