While the franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos and food products, they operate as a separate company and employer from McDonald's USA. This means that all employment matters—including hiring, firing, discipline, staff supervision, and scheduling—are managed solely by the franchisee. As such, if hired, your employer will be the franchisee, not McDonald's USA, which will have no involvement in your employment decisions or access to your application.
