The role of Shift Manager at Burger King is an excellent opportunity for motivated, energetic individuals passionate about great food and great service. Reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager, Shift Managers play a critical leadership role in guiding the crew, driving operational performance, and ensuring the world-famous Burger King experience is delivered consistently to every guest. The position offers an hourly pay rate between $16.50 and $17.50 and includes opportunities to develop leadership skills and advance within the company. Shift Managers are responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, maintaining inventory and cash controls, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and brand consistency. In addition, they inspire and coach team members to provide fast, friendly, and accurate service while meeting speed-of-service goals. Job Requirements

  • minimum 18 years of age
  • at least 2 years in quick-service restaurants as a team member or assistant manager
  • basic knowledge of p&l and how to influence profitability
  • strong leadership and coaching skills
  • a passion for guest service and building great teams
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong understanding of food safety and health inspection requirements
  • open availability to be able to work evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts

Job Duties

  • keep our inventory in check with daily, weekly, and monthly inspections
  • place and receive truck orders like a pro
  • track restaurant assets and ensure preventative maintenance is on point
  • maintain strict cash control and security procedures
  • lead your team to provide fast, friendly, and accurate service every shift
  • ensure every guest leaves satisfied
  • coach shift coordinators and team members to build skills, confidence, and teamwork
  • inspire your crew to exceed performance goals and operational standards
  • direct the team for accurate, efficient food preparation while meeting speed-of-service goals
  • uphold Burger King’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and brand consistency
