This job opportunity is presented by an independently owned and operated McDonald's franchise restaurant. Unlike corporate McDonald's USA locations, this franchisee independently manages all aspects of employment, operations, and customer interactions within the restaurant environment. This means the franchisee holds the license to use McDonald's brand, logos, and food products, but is a completely separate business entity from McDonald's USA. The franchisee is solely responsible for hiring, firing, staffing, scheduling, and managing employees at the restaurant. Essentially, if you are hired for this position, you will be employed directly by the franchisee, and not by McDonald's USA. This autonomy assures that employment matters are managed locally and tailored to the needs of this particular restaurant and its community.
The role offered is a Shift Manager position in a fast-paced and vibrant restaurant setting. Shift Managers play a critical leadership and operational role in producing quality customer experiences every shift they lead. They provide direction and supervision to crew members and fellow managers to ensure the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are consistently upheld. The Shift Manager position offers a dynamic work environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to guide a team to success.
Shift Managers are expected to engage actively in planning for shifts, monitoring ongoing performance, identifying and solving issues in real-time, and motivating the team to meet or exceed operational standards.
