Job Description

WKS Restaurant Group is a dynamic, rapidly growing multi-concept franchise restaurant developer and operator, managing over 300 stores across 17 states. As a licensed franchisee of well-known brands such as El Pollo Loco, Wendy's, Denny's, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Blaze Pizza, and Corner Bakery Café, WKS Restaurant Group has built a reputation for excellence in the foodservice industry. The company's extensive portfolio allows it to leverage diverse market opportunities and operational expertise to deliver consistently high-quality dining experiences. This robust presence in the competitive restaurant sector highlights WKS’s commitment to growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

The role available is a key leadership position within one of Wendy's franchised locations operated by WKS Restaurant Group. This position involves managing shifts, training staff, overseeing cash handling, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The supervisor is responsible for maintaining compliance with food safety standards and company policies, aiming to meet or exceed the quality, service, and cleanliness (Q.S.C.) standards established by Wendy's. This job offers a unique opportunity to gain leadership experience in a fast-paced environment while contributing directly to the operational success of a busy restaurant.

As a shift supervisor at Wendy's, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations, including enforcing health and safety regulations, coaching and developing team members, and handling administrative responsibilities such as reporting and cash management. This position demands excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to motivate and inspire employees to deliver exceptional service. Employees will benefit from a supportive and structured training program, including certification in crew leadership and shift supervision, ensuring readiness for leadership responsibilities.

WKS Restaurant Group provides important benefits to its employees, including medical, vision, and dental insurance eligibility shortly after the first 30 days of employment. A 401k plan with up to 4% company match is offered, with immediate vesting once employees complete one year of service. Paid vacation time begins accruing from the first day, starting at two weeks annually and increasing after five years of tenure. This comprehensive benefits package reflects WKS’s dedication to supporting its workforce, promoting work-life balance, and fostering long-term career growth within the organization.

The job requires specific physical demands such as standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Employees must hold a valid driver's license and maintain vehicle insurance if the role involves driving for company errands. Working in a fast-food environment will occasionally expose you to high heat from grills and fryers, as well as cooking oils and other materials common in restaurant kitchens. The minimum age requirement for employment is 18 years or older.

Joining WKS Restaurant Group as a shift supervisor at Wendy's means becoming part of a large, respected franchise family with a commitment to excellence and career progression. Whether you're beginning your management journey or seeking to broaden your leadership skills, this position offers a rewarding path in the restaurant industry with strong support and ample opportunity for advancement. The autonomy granted to franchisees means compensation, benefits, and career programs may vary but are designed to attract and retain motivated talent committed to operational success.
