Founded by Dave Thomas, Wendy's has grown to become a beloved brand in the fast-food industry with thousands of locations worldwide. The company prides itself on its core values of honesty, integrity, respect, and community involvement, which are deeply ingrained in its culture. Wendy's believes that its employees are its greatest asset and fosters a work environment that encourages growth, development, and opportunity for all team members. With a family-oriented atmosphere and a focus on employee well-being, Wendy's offers a unique workplace where individuals can thrive and build meaningful careers.
At the Scottsdale, AZ location, Wendy's is currently seeking a dedicated Shift Manager to join their team. This position offers the chance to earn $18.00 per hour and provides a variety of benefits and career growth opportunities. As a Shift Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring a smooth and efficient service that meets Wendy's high standards. You will lead and motivate team members, promoting a positive work environment and excellent customer service. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a passion for driving sales and employee development.
The position entails a blend of administrative, leadership, and hands-on responsibilities. You will be responsible for training and mentoring staff, managing inventory, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Bilingual candidates are preferred, as the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and team members is valued. The company offers clear and defined training programs to help you succeed, along with a supportive management team committed to your professional growth.
Wendy's encourages career-minded and motivated individuals who are eager to take on challenges and embrace leadership roles. Employees enjoy competitive pay, paid time off, an employee referral program, and access to medical, dental, vision, and even pet insurance after eligibility. Additionally, a 401K plan with company match is available upon hiring, and the company offers on-demand pay to provide financial flexibility. This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle the physical demands of a fast-paced restaurant environment.
This job opportunity is with a Wendy's franchisee, which means compensation, benefits, and career programs may vary from company-owned locations. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to apply and should be ready to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends. Wendy's values team players who enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering superior service to every customer. This role at the Scottsdale location offers a chance to be a part of a dynamic team and grow your career in the fast-food industry.
