Job Description

This job posting is for a full-time Shift Manager position at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s logos and food products. It is important to note that this franchisee operates separately from McDonald’s USA and is the sole employer responsible for all employment matters including hiring, firing, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA has no involvement in these decisions. The role requires prior work experience as a shift leader at McDonald’s or in a similar fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a shift leader at McDonald’s or a similar role
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • ability to multitask and perform under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • prior leadership experience preferably in restaurant, retail, or hospitality
  • proven ability to manage teams efficiently
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • flexible schedule
  • at least 18 years old
  • experience working as a shift leader at McDonald’s or similar establishment

Job Duties

  • lead shifts every week ensuring fast, accurate, and friendly customer service
  • provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift
  • plan and monitor performance throughout the shift
  • take action to meet McDonald’s quality, service, and cleanliness standards
  • monitor safety, security, and profitability during shifts
  • communicate shift details to next managers
  • manage food safety
  • oversee internal communication
  • manage inventory
  • ensure daily maintenance and cleanliness
  • manage and coach crew
  • ensure quality food production
  • deliver exceptional customer service
  • maintain safety and security protocols
  • handle scheduling
  • conduct training for new and existing staff
