The franchisee owns the license to operate using McDonald’s branding, logos, and food products but functions as a completely separate business entity from McDonald’s USA. This means that while McDonald’s branding and system standards are maintained, employment matters such as hiring, supervision, discipline, and scheduling are managed solely by the franchisee who employs the staff at the restaurant. Interested candidates should be aware that any application submitted will be directed exclusively to the franchisee and not to McDonald’s USA, as the corporate office does not participate in the hiring or employment decisions of franchise-owned restaurants.
