The role of Shift Manager at North Lime Coffee and Donuts is a vital leadership position that involves supervising employees in a dynamic retail coffee and donut shop environment. The Shift Manager is responsible for planning and assigning work to the teams they lead, ensuring that the shop's operations run smoothly during their shift. The compensation for this role includes a base pay of $12 per hour with the addition of tips, which bring the average total hourly rate to approximately $17. The position offers up to three weeks of paid time off annually, accrued based on hours worked, along with quarterly bonuses contingent on the store's profitability. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in retail food service or coffee shop environment
- proven leadership or supervisory experience
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to handle high-stress environments calmly
- capacity to multitask and manage time effectively
- availability to work peak business hours and days
- maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- possess and maintain Certified Food Managers Permit
- ability to communicate effectively with team and management
- physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds
- discretion with confidential information
Job Qualifications
- possess and maintain Certified Food Managers Permit in compliance with local or state regulations
