The position of Shift Manager (SM) is a vital role within a restaurant environment, typically under the umbrella of a reputable franchise operating McDonald's restaurants. Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to relocate if required for business or career growth

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in restaurant management or supervisory role preferred

Job Duties

  • Support the General Manager and Assistant Manager in running a profitable restaurant
  • Ensure the restaurant meets Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards during the shift
  • Lead and motivate crew members providing feedback and encouragement
  • Execute administrative tasks such as inventories and scheduling
  • Address performance issues by coaching and counseling staff
  • Follow and enforce safety protocols to prevent injuries and accidents
  • Ensure food safety and security standards are maintained during the shift
