This job opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not directly managed by McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, allowing them to run the restaurant under the well-known McDonald’s brand. However, this franchisee operates as a separate business entity and a distinct employer from McDonald’s USA. If hired, you will be employed by the franchisee, who will be solely responsible for all employment-related matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA maintains no control or involvement over these processes, nor will they receive a copy of your application or have any say in employment decisions including interviews or hiring.
