Job Description
Wendy's is one of the most recognized fast-food restaurant chains in the world, renowned for its fresh, quality ingredients and commitment to customer satisfaction. Founded by Dave Thomas, Wendy's has grown into a global brand that embraces a strong culture grounded on principles like honesty, integrity, respect, and giving back to the community. These core values have fostered a family-like work environment where employees are viewed as the greatest asset, and opportunities for purpose and growth abound. Wendy's franchise in Gilbert, Arizona, located at 4684 E. Ray Rd., embodies this spirit, offering a vibrant and dynamic setting for employees to thrive and advance in their careers.
As a Shift Manager at this Wendy's location, you will play a pivotal leadership role in managing daily operations and driving the team's success. This role is designed for motivated, career-minded individuals who are passionate about leadership, teamwork, and delivering outstanding customer service. The Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing restaurant activities during their shift, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability while fostering a positive work environment. You will have the unique opportunity to develop your managerial skills through clear and defined training programs and be part of a brand that values employee growth and career advancement.
The position offers a welcoming culture that encourages respect among team members and strives for excellence in every aspect of the business. Bilingual candidates are preferred, reflecting the inclusive nature of the workplace. Employees benefit from a variety of perks, including medical, dental, and vision insurance starting shortly after employment, a 401K plan with company match, paid time off, an employee referral program, and on-demand pay options. The role demands a balance of leadership, communication, and operational skills, making it perfect for individuals who enjoy fast-paced environments and have a passion for developing others.
Furthermore, this position requires a physical ability to handle the demands of a fast-food restaurant, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing routine tasks that keep the restaurant running smoothly. The role may also require occasional driving for company errands, so a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance are necessary. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to apply.
Joining Wendy's means becoming part of a respected franchise that is independently owned and operated, offering compensation and benefits that may differ by location but always aim to reward dedication and talent. If you are ready to make a difference, lead a team, and grow your career in a friendly, high-energy environment, Wendy's is the ideal place to start or continue your professional journey.
