As a Shift Manager, you will be the embodiment of the Wendy's brand when leading shifts. In addition to managing daily operations, the Shift Manager is responsible for enforcing compliance with food safety standards and operating procedures, ensuring that the restaurant environment is clean, safe, and fully compliant with Wendy's policies. This position requires flexibility and adaptability, including readiness to travel between Wendy's locations as needed, the physical ability to stand and move throughout the shift, occasionally lift moderate weights, and manage varying weather conditions typical in a fast-food setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving capabilities and exemplary customer service and decision-making skills. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of restaurant work experience
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively
- Flexible availability
- Willingness to travel between locations as needed
- Physical ability to stand and move for the duration of shifts
- Capability to lift 25-50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Comfortable using restaurant equipment such as registers and grills
- Adherence to brand standards and safety guidelines
