Job Description

WKS Restaurant Group is a dynamic and rapidly growing multi-concept franchise restaurant developer and operator with a footprint spanning over 300 stores across 17 states. As a licensed franchisee of renowned brands such as El Pollo Loco, Wendy's, Denny's, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Blaze Pizza, and Corner Bakery Café, WKS Restaurant Group exemplifies excellence and commitment in the foodservice industry. Their robust portfolio and expansive geographical presence make them an influential player in the franchise restaurant market. WKS Restaurant Group prides itself on fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment for its employees, making it an excellent place for career advancement in the restaurant industry.

The Shift Supervisor role at WKS Restaurant Group, working primarily within their Wendy's franchise, is a key leadership position responsible for managing daily store operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies. This role is pivotal in managing the workflow and team dynamics during assigned shifts, with responsibilities encompassing training crew members, handling cash operations accurately, and enforcing food safety standards to maintain the store's compliance with Q.S.C. (Quality, Service, Cleanliness) benchmarks. The Shift Supervisor oversees team performance and operational efficiency, striving to meet and exceed the restaurant's targeted service and quality standards.

This position demands a hands-on approach, requiring the supervisor to be actively engaged in both customer service and operational tasks, ensuring a seamless and positive dining experience for customers. It also involves addressing staff concerns, resolving issues swiftly, and maintaining open communication channels within the team. The role requires a strong understanding of multiple job positions within the restaurant, as the supervisor must be P.O.C. (Point of Contact) trained across all critical areas of operation.

WKS Restaurant Group offers comprehensive employee benefits like medical, vision, and dental insurance eligible shortly after employment begins, alongside financial security through a 401k plan with company match and immediate vesting. Paid vacation time is accrued bi-weekly, increasing with tenure. These benefits reflect the company’s dedication to the wellbeing and professional growth of its workforce, making the Shift Supervisor position not only a leader role but also a career opportunity with tangible rewards and long-term incentives.

This employment opportunity is with one of WKS’s many franchisees independently owned and operated, meaning compensation, benefits, and career programs may vary compared to company-owned locations, providing a unique franchise-based work environment. WKS Restaurant Group is looking for responsible, motivated individuals who are ready to take on the challenges of leading a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment and eager to contribute to the ongoing success and customer satisfaction that defines Wendy’s and the other brands under WKS’s umbrella.
