This opportunity is for a Shift Lead position at Taco Bell, a key role designed to infuse energy and leadership into each shift. As a Shift Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of the restaurant, championing Taco Bell's standards for customer satisfaction and team performance. You'll be responsible for leading your team through busy shifts, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service. This role calls for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about guiding others to success.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring consistent customer satisfaction by executing the Manager in Charge (MIC) Success Routine, overseeing the completion of Shift Excellence tasks, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant and team members. Food safety, order accuracy, and quality are paramount, and you will take the lead in upholding these standards. Resolving customer complaints swiftly and effectively is essential to maintain positive guest relations.

You will serve as a key communicator between the General Manager and your team, providing feedback and coaching to encourage continuous performance improvements. Your leadership will extend to training new team members and assisting with candidate screening, hiring you’ll help build a strong team. Additional responsibilities include assisting in profit and loss management by adhering to cash control, inventory management, labor scheduling, and security procedures.

Facility maintenance and the overall health and safety standards of the restaurant will also fall under your remit, ensuring a safe dining and working environment for everybody. This role offers competitive pay within the range of $14-$22 per hour, depending on location and experience, and requires a candidate who is at least 18 years of age, with prior restaurant or retail experience preferred. Job Duties

  • Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by executing the MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs
  • Oversee Team Members' completion of Shift Excellence tasks and maintain clean, neat appearances
  • Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly, maintaining positive customer relations
  • Provide regular feedback to the GM on Team Member performance
  • Offer ongoing constructive and positive feedback to Team Members
  • Actively participate in training Team Members
  • Handle conflicts constructively and work with the GM to achieve resolution
  • Assist the GM in screening Team Member candidates
  • Assist with Profit & Loss management by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, and managing labor
  • Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times
  • Assist the GM with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are always followed
