This job opportunity is offered by a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, distinct and separate from McDonald's USA. This franchisee has licensed the rights to use McDonald's branding, logos, and food products to operate the restaurant, yet it functions as an independent business entity. When you join this team, you will be employed directly by the franchisee, not McDonald's USA, which means all employment decisions, including hiring, firing, discipline, scheduling, and supervision, are managed by the franchisee's management team. This structure provides an entrepreneurial environment within the McDonald's brand ecosystem, offering a unique blend of corporate standards and localized business operations. The McDonald's USA entity does not participate in or influence employment decisions or review your employment application.

This particular role is for a Shift Manager position within the restaurant. The Shift Manager plays a pivotal leadership role by ensuring excellent quality, service, and cleanliness during their shifts. You will be responsible for leading shifts every week, managing crew members, other managers, and the overall customer experience to ensure it is consistently fast, accurate, and friendly. In addition to overseeing daily operations, Shift Managers help coach and develop employees, manage inventory, and enforce safety and security standards.
