The franchisee operates the restaurant under a license that allows the use of McDonald's logos, menu items, and branding, but it is a separate company from McDonald's USA. This distinction means that all employment decisions—including hiring, firing, scheduling, and disciplinary actions—are managed solely by the franchisee and not by McDonald's USA. Candidates applying for this role will be employed by the franchisee, who is responsible for all employment-related matters.
