Job Description

AES Restaurant Group, LLC is a distinguished franchisee operating one of the most recognized fast-food brands, Arby's, across 344 locations in 20 states, primarily based in Northern Indiana. The company carries strong values represented by its acronym AES, which stands for 'Attitude Equals Success.' This philosophy underpins the company culture, emphasizing that a positive attitude directly contributes to the achievement of goals and overall success. AES Restaurant Group is committed to creating a work environment that fosters high performance, career development, and exceptional customer service while delivering quality food experiences.

The company operates with a clear vision to be guests' favorite fast-food destination by maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and operational excellence. With opportunities for full-time and part-time shifts, AES supports a workforce that is motivated by incentives such as a bonus program, health insurance, health savings accounts, paid time off, and an employee rewards and recognition program. This supportive atmosphere ensures that employees feel valued and recognized for their contributions.

As a Shift Manager at AES Restaurant Group, you take on a vital leadership role that ensures the smooth operation of restaurant activities during your assigned shifts. You are responsible for delivering outstanding service and guest satisfaction by supervising team members and directing all shift operations, especially when the general or assistant manager is not on site. Your role embodies accountability, operational rigor, and leadership excellence, making you the key figure to maintain and elevate the standards of the restaurant.

The position involves working closely with management to train, coach, and develop team members, using AES systems and operational tools to orchestrate excellent restaurant performance. Your duties will include managing cash and inventory controls, driving service and financial results, and setting measurable goals that improve operations, customer service, speed, and quality control. You will ensure compliance with government regulations, employment laws, food safety, and company policies.

AES prides itself on its goal-oriented culture, where teamwork and mutual respect are paramount. The ideal candidate for the Shift Manager role is someone with strong leadership abilities, emotional resilience, and a passion for coaching and developing others. Fast-paced environments and problem-solving on the fly are part of the daily routine, requiring managers to maintain high integrity and customer satisfaction standards. You will be entrusted with P&L management, operational oversight, and controlling food and labor costs, positioning you as an essential contributor to the restaurant's success.

This career opportunity is perfect whether you are looking for a change or taking your first step in restaurant management. AES offers a platform where your skills can flourish, your leadership can shine, and your career can grow alongside a reputable fast-food franchise committed to excellence and employee well-being. We look forward to welcoming devoted professionals to our team who exemplify respect, integrity, and a commitment to outstanding guest experiences.
