Job Description

This job opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee who holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products. It is important to note that this franchisee is a separate entity and employer distinct from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee independently manages all employment matters including hiring, firing, supervision, discipline, staffing, and scheduling of employees. McDonald’s USA does not control or partake in any employment decisions at this location and will not receive copies of employment applications or be involved in interview or hiring decisions.

The position available is for a Department Manager, a vital leadership role that ensures each shift runs smoothly and customers receive quick, accurate, and friendly service every time they visit. Each focus area has distinct responsibilities; for instance, Guest Service Managers oversee the customer experience, ensuring promotional campaigns are well-executed and service areas like the McCafé and Drive-Thru are efficient and organized. Kitchen Managers are charged with maintaining food quality, safety, and cost control while training kitchen staff in production standards. People Managers focus on recruitment, training, scheduling, and motivating crew members to meet operational goals.

Candidates with previous managerial experience in restaurants, retail, or hospitality are preferred. Job Duties
