While the franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, including running the restaurant under the McDonald’s brand, it operates as an entirely independent company responsible for all employment matters. This means that if hired, the franchisee—not McDonald’s USA—will be your employer, handling hiring decisions, discipline, staffing, scheduling, and supervision. The franchisee has complete control over employment policies, and McDonald’s USA does not participate or intervene in any employment decisions, nor will they receive your employment application.

Job Duties

  • lead shifts every week making sure customers get a fast accurate friendly experience every visit
  • provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great quality service and cleanliness
  • plan for each shift monitor performance during the shift take action to ensure the team is meeting standards
  • monitor safety security and profitability
  • communicate with the next shift manager to help prepare them to run a great shift
  • manage food safety internal communication inventory management daily maintenance and cleanliness
  • manage crew quality food production exceptional customer service safety and security scheduling training
