This job opportunity is offered at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee who holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products. It is important to note that this franchisee operates as a separate business entity and is not associated with McDonald’s USA directly. If you are hired, the franchisee will be your employer and will be solely responsible for all employment aspects such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA does not influence employment decisions or receive applications for this position.

The position available is for a Shift Manager, a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of shifts while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers play an essential part in delivering fast, friendly, and accurate experiences to every customer. This role demands leadership that motivates the crew and supports other managers through effective planning, performance monitoring, and problem-solving during shifts.
Shift Managers are entrusted with various responsibilities, including ensuring food safety compliance, facilitating clear internal communication, managing inventory, overseeing daily maintenance and cleanliness, and leading crew members to meet company standards. Additionally, they handle scheduling, safety and security concerns, and training new team members. The role requires managing operations to meet performance targets and supporting assigned departments in achieving their goals.
Ideal candidates bring leadership experience, preferably in restaurants, retail, or hospitality sectors. The minimum age requirement to be a manager in corporate-owned restaurants is 18 years or older.
