The Shift Manager role at Five Guys is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager. Shift Managers are trained across all crew and shift leader duties but carry additional responsibilities such as ensuring compliance with company standards in product preparation, timely and quality food delivery, customer interactions, restaurant maintenance, team leadership, and inventory control. This role requires a balance of hands-on involvement and management to maintain a fast, efficient, and friendly dining environment. The pay rate for this position is $19.00 per hour, supplemented by tips and bonus incentives, providing ample opportunity for earnings beyond the base wage. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours within restaurant operating times

  • Ability to set and maintain high standards for self and team
  • Pass required background checks
