Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods with periodic breaks
- Perform repetitive motions including chopping, stirring, carrying, and operating equipment
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
- Capability to walk stairs and use a step ladder as needed
- Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening as required by the role
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, using equipment or assistance for heavier loads
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently around the kitchen
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Work in a fast-paced, loud environment with exposure to temperature fluctuations, heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals
- Use and adherence to proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety training
- Awareness of hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems effectively
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- High level of attention to detail in maintaining restaurant standards
Job Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service
- Lead, motivate, and develop the restaurant team to meet performance goals
- Monitor food quality, safety, and sanitation standards to maintain compliance
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and inventory control to optimize resources
- Enforce company policies and maintain a safe and welcoming work environment
- Collaborate with management to drive profitability and business growth
