This position is for a Shift Manager who will play a vital role in the daily operation of the restaurant during the General Manager's absence. Responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with company standards related to product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team management, and inventory control, the Shift Manager ensures that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. The role requires leadership, responsibility, and a focus on creating an enjoyable dining experience for customers. Shift Managers at Five Guys are also trained to perform the duties of Crew Members and Shift Leaders, enabling them to support their team effectively and maintain high service standards.
The compensation for this role is $18.00 per hour, with additional opportunities to earn tips and bonuses. The work schedule aligns with normal restaurant hours, typically opening at 11:00 am and closing at 10:00 pm, without drive-thru service. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
