This franchisee prides itself on being a freaky F.A.S.S.T. operation, dedicated to delivering freaky fresh sandwiches while maintaining a clean and efficient store environment. They offer competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits package, and ample opportunities for career progression within the company. Employees find themselves part of a dynamic workplace that is not only fast-paced but also fun, supportive, and growth-oriented. The company culture encourages every team member to embrace the core values of speed, quality, and customer satisfaction.
The Person in Charge role at Jimmy John's is a key leadership position involving oversight of store operations during shifts when management is not available. With a wage range of $13.65 to $17.29 per hour plus tips depending on experience, this role is perfect for someone passionate about food service and ready to step into a position of responsibility. As a Person in Charge, you will supervise a team of about 3 to 15 employees, ensuring smooth daily operations including food preparation, sales, inventory management, and customer service. You'll be responsible for delegating important tasks such as ordering, receiving, and storage of supplies to minimize loss and enhance efficiency. The role demands hands-on involvement during peak periods to ensure efficiency and exceptional customer experience. Additionally, the position requires oversight of equipment maintenance and store cleanliness, adhering to established standards at all times.
This position offers robust training and tools designed to help you succeed and develop your leadership potential within the company. As a Person in Charge, you gain significant experience managing staff, enforcing protocols, and maintaining operational standards which can serve as a stepping stone to higher roles such as Assistant Manager or General Manager within the franchise. The company prioritizes career development and supports employees through mentorship programs that foster leadership and operational excellence. You also benefit from a structured work environment that values safety, effective communication, and teamwork. This role not only enhances your skills in the restaurant industry but also offers a path for growth into area management or director-level positions in a fast-growing organization. If you are 18 or older, willing to commit to overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed, and eager to advance your career with a vibrant team, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading restaurant brand with a freaky fun working environment.
