Job Description

Jimmy John's is a well-known fast food franchise specializing in delivering freaky fresh sandwiches along with exceptional customer service. Unlike typical fast food outlets, this franchisee emphasizes a caring, dynamic culture that supports its employees through competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth. With a commitment to quality food preparation and cleanliness, the franchise operates as a premier destination for freshly made sandwiches while fostering a fun and engaging work atmosphere. This position is not an ordinary fast food role; it offers a chance to be part of a brand that truly values both its customers and team members. The franchise seeks team members who are ready to embrace their F.A.S.S.T. (Fast, Accurate, Safe, Smart, and Team-oriented) philosophy, ensuring every aspect of the operation exceeds expectations. Join a community that pledges not just to serve food but to deliver excellence and a unique employment experience.

The Person in Charge role is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing restaurant operations during assigned shifts when management is unavailable. This role demands a proactive and hands-on leader who can supervise a team varying between 3 to 15 employees, ensure smooth food preparation, maintain store cleanliness, and support operational efficiency. The role entails delegating responsibilities for ordering, receiving, and managing inventory to minimize waste and prevent theft. The Person in Charge will also assist in food preparation, oversee sales and service operations, and actively participate during peak hours to uphold high standards of restaurant performance. Daily administrative duties, including paperwork and preventive maintenance, fall within the scope of this role. The position promises competitive wages ranging between $13.65 and $17.29 per hour plus tips, depending on experience, along with benefits such as PPO medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, employee meal programs, and clear pathways for career advancement. This role is more than a job; it is a stepping stone for leadership development within a fast-growing organization committed to nurturing future Assistant Managers, General Managers, Area Managers, and Directors of Operations. It offers a blend of responsibility, growth opportunity, and the satisfaction of contributing to a thriving and friendly fast food environment.
