Job Description
Located at 9135 E Northfield Blvd, Denver, CO, this Jimmy John's franchise is distinctively not your typical fast food establishment. With a strong commitment to quality, freshness, and a vibrant work culture, this franchise prides itself on being a freaky F.A.S.S.T. (Fast, Accurate, Simple, Sandwich, Team) operator. Unlike many fast food chains that emphasize speed alone, this franchise focuses on crafting fresh sandwiches with care and maintaining a clean and inviting environment for both employees and customers. As an employer, the franchise offers competitive wages, benefits, and numerous opportunities for career growth. Employees can find a workplace where teamwork, leadership development, and a positive atmosphere are priorities. This location specifically is seeking a Person in Charge to join their team, a role integral to ensuring smooth operations during shifts when management is not present.
The Person in Charge position is designed for someone who is eager to contribute to the restaurant’s success by supervising staff, managing daily operations, and upholding the high standards of food preparation and customer service Jimmy John’s is known for. This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $13.65 to $17.29 plus tips, depending on experience, and includes access to benefits such as PPO Medical, PPO Dental, Vision coverage, and paid time off.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills as you manage a team of 3 to 15 employees, delegate responsibilities related to inventory and supply management, and ensure efficient food preparation and service during your shift. You will also be instrumental in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the restaurant. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to handle dynamic work conditions, and the willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as business dictates. With ongoing support through training and mentorship, career advancement opportunities are abundant, potentially leading to roles such as Assistant Manager, General Manager, Area Manager, or Director of Operations within this fast-growing organization.
As a Person in Charge, you will be a key leader fostering a fun yet efficient work environment where pride in work and ownership of your location are promoted. You will be involved in both the operational and administrative tasks such as completing daily and weekly paperwork, supervising maintenance needs, and assisting Team Members during busy times. The company encourages individuals who are motivated to lead by example and who seek growth within the restaurant and the larger organizational structure to apply and become part of a truly unique fast food experience.
