Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as business dictates
- physical stamina to work 40-50 hours per week
- ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, listen
- close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
- ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- willingness to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodations for disabilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience supervising or leading a team in a fast-paced environment
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and understanding fractions
- ability to handle physical demands of the job
- strong communication and leadership skills
- willingness to work flexible hours including overtime, holidays, and weekends
Job Duties
- Supervise a staff of approximately 3 to 15 employees
- delegate responsibilities for ordering, receiving, storage, and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies to reduce loss from waste and theft
- assist in supervision of preparation, sales, and service of food
- supervise food preparation and service operations while on duty
- assist team members during rush periods to ensure restaurant efficiency
- complete daily food preparation including meat and vegetable slicing, portioning, and rotating products
- assist in daily and weekly paperwork
- assist in preventive maintenance and upkeep on store equipment and supplies
- perform other related duties as required
