Zaxbys is currently seeking a highly motivated Shift Leader to join their team. This role is critical in leading daily restaurant operations, managing both people and processes to ensure a smooth and efficient shift. The Shift Leader spearheads the team’s efforts by assigning tasks, motivating members, and addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Job Requirements

Sit, stand, and walk continuously
occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb including use of ladders
frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds including lifting overhead
continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation
communicate proficiently through speech, reading, and writing
maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception to observe and respond to the environment
work in an environment with hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to food allergens
operate and work safely with restaurant equipment including knives, fryers, and potentially hazardous equipment

Job Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older
must have reliable transportation
ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays with part-time availability of 9 to 28 hours per week and full-time availability of 32 to 40 hours per week
successful completion of background check
demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
follows company standards and local laws regarding employee time punches
strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
technological savvy including knowledge of required company software and tools
strong problem-solving skills
ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
conflict resolution skills

Job Duties

Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys Shift Leader Development Plan and food safety certification
create a culture of high performance and train and coach team members to meet company standards
mentor, coach, and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to the General Manager
prioritize guest and team member experience and resolve complaints in a friendly and respectful manner
communicate shift goals and motivate team members to meet goals and perform at their highest ability level
delegate tasks to team members and supervise performance during a shift
maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with company guidelines, policies, and procedures
