The role of Shift Leader is a vital position within Illegal Pete's management team, assuming responsibility for overseeing restaurant operations when the Assistant General Manager or General Manager is not present. Shift Leaders have a direct impact on the quality of the guest experience by running great front of house shifts, ensuring food and beverage standards are meticulously maintained, and keeping the restaurant clean and well-organized. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to pitch in across all areas of the store as needed.

Job Requirements
- Create an atmosphere that celebrates individuality and relaxed human connection
- Deliver excellent guest service
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds
- Certain other physical requirements may apply, as reasonably applicable in a standard kitchen/restaurant environment
- Availability including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver excellent guest service
- Experience managing or leading retail or restaurant teams preferred
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety and preparation standards
- Ability to foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere
Job Duties
- Follow Illegal Pete's preparations guide and ensure the food quality is at its highest possible level
- Abide by all company policy
- Come to work with a good attitude
- Be willing to help out with any aspect of the store that is needed during your shift
- Provide that food and beverage quality is at its highest level by knowing all preparation standards for all food and drinks
- Be prompt and ready to work when you are scheduled
- Communicate with Shift Supervisors, AGM or GM about improving the store or making your job better
- Stay busy keeping your area as well as the entire restaurant clean and tidy
