The Shift Leader role at Tomtreyco McDonald’s represents more than a paycheck. It is designed to foster leadership skills and operational expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. The Shift Leader takes charge of shifts every week, ensuring a friendly and efficient customer service experience while upholding the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Shift Leaders serve as key team motivators and supervisors on duty. They are responsible for planning shifts, monitoring team and restaurant performance, and taking action to meet McDonald’s standards in food safety, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Moreover, they monitor safety, security, and profitability during their shifts and coordinate with the following shift leaders to maintain seamless restaurant operation.
The position also involves meeting targeted performance goals alongside departmental objectives. Shift Leaders handle vital tasks like inventory management, scheduling, staff training, and maintaining the restaurant’s cleanliness and maintenance standards. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure exceptional food quality and service, as well as a safe and secure work environment.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous leadership experience in restaurant retail or hospitality preferred

Job Duties
- lead shifts every week ensuring fast accurate friendly customer experiences
- provide leadership to crew and other leaders during shifts to ensure quality service and cleanliness
- plan and monitor shift performance taking action to meet McDonald’s standards
- monitor safety security and profitability during shifts
- communicate with next shift leader to ensure seamless handover
- manage inventory scheduling and training within assigned departments
- maintain food safety internal communication daily maintenance and exceptional customer service
