The role of Shift Leader / On Duty Manager (ODM) at Tiff's Treats in College Station is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals looking to step into a leadership position within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This part-time, non-exempt, hourly role involves leading the store operations in the absence of salaried managers, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks and exceptional customer service. The position offers a flexible schedule with varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, primarily between 7 AM and 11 PM, and requires availability for weekend and evening shifts.
As an ODM, you will earn $18 per hour during your shifts, taking on responsibilities that include managing a team of 3 to 6 employees, overseeing product preparation, sales, inventory, and service to maintain a high standard of operations. You'll be instrumental in executing opening and closing procedures, conducting inventory checks, optimizing delivery routes for efficiency, and upholding a positive and motivating environment for the team.
When not functioning as the ODM, you will contribute as either a Kitchen Team Member or a Delivery Driver. Kitchen Team Members are responsible for baking and preparing treats to perfection, packaging orders accurately, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen at a rate of $15 per hour. Delivery Drivers earn $10 per hour plus delivery fees and 100% of customer tips. They deliver warm, freshly baked treats promptly, provide excellent customer service, and assist with in-store duties to support smooth operations.

Job Requirements
- Must be available for weekend and evening shifts including peak business days such as Bosses’ Day Admin Pro Day and Valentine’s Day
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Proof of current auto insurance with driver listed as authorized
- Access to a personal vehicle for deliveries when company vehicles are occupied
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle following all traffic laws
- Ability to lift carry and grasp up to 50 lbs
- Capability to stand or walk for extended periods in various weather conditions
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs while carrying up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks and manage multiple responsibilities safely
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a busy environment
- Must be able to clearly hear and speak over the telephone
- Ability to perform computer work in a stationary position for extended time
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of leadership or management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage a team effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proof of auto insurance with the driver listed as an authorized driver
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings
- Experience in customer service or food service industry preferred
Job Duties
- Serve as the manager on duty in the absence of salaried managers leading the team and ensuring smooth store operations
- Oversee train and evaluate the work of 3-6 employees per shift fostering a productive and positive work environment
- Manage daily operations including product preparation sales inventory and service to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Execute opening and closing procedures complete daily paperwork and conduct inventory checks to maintain accuracy
- Optimize delivery efficiency by routing orders to maximize speed and delivery business
- Maintain a positive can-do attitude setting the tone for the team and leading by example in every role
- Assist with front-of-house tasks including greeting customers taking orders handling transactions and ensuring order accuracy
- Support performance management including coaching team members and providing feedback or corrective actions as needed
