Caribou Coffee is a well-known coffeehouse chain that operates with a vibrant mission to create day-making experiences that inspire a chain reaction of GOOD. With a strong emphasis on team collaboration, guest satisfaction, and business excellence, Caribou Coffee prides itself on fostering an inviting environment for both employees and customers. Founded on core values such as Support One Another, Make Fun Happen, Be Yourself, Take Ownership, and Serve With Love, Caribou Coffee strives to cultivate a culture where employees can be authentic, grow professionally, and contribute positively to their communities. The brand has built a loyal customer base by serving high-quality coffee and promoting a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels encouraged to be part of the 'Bou Crew.'

The position of Shift Leader at Caribou Coffee offers an exciting leadership opportunity within this well-established coffeehouse environment. The Shift Leader role is pivotal to the smooth operation and success of the store, working closely with General Managers and Assistant General Managers to ensure that each shift runs effectively, meeting and exceeding the company's standards for customer service and operational efficiency. This role demands a passionate leader who can inspire their team, maintain a positive and engaging environment, and uphold the highest standards in product quality and store cleanliness. The Shift Leader is responsible for clear communication of goals, expectations, and directives to the team, while also fostering meaningful connections with guests. In this leadership capacity, the Shift Leader is expected to be a role model by demonstrating mastery in team member responsibilities and coaching team members to bring their best effort in both their duties and interpersonal interactions. The position requires someone who is adaptable, attentive to the needs of the team and guests, capable of making strategic decisions, and resilient under pressure, consistently maintaining a calm and positive demeanor. The Shift Leader also supports the career development of team members through ongoing training and feedback, contributing to an inclusive, inspiring, and growth-focused work culture on every shift. This role is available in Rochester, Minnesota, at the 2190 Wheelock Dr NE location, with compensation starting at rates that comply with local and state minimum wage laws. If you are a motivated individual ready to lead a passionate team in a fun, fast-paced environment and help deliver outstanding coffee experiences, Caribou Coffee invites you to join their herd and be part of the 'Bou Crew.'
