Job Requirements

  • monitor and observe the day-to-day activities of subordinates
  • coordinate breaks for hourly associates
  • complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists according to company policies
  • coordinate on-the-job training for new associates
  • operate cash register and handle void transactions in compliance with cash handling policies
  • maintain proper security of cash
  • transfer supplies and equipment manually or with a hand truck
  • implement product rotation and participate in inventory counts
  • resolve customer complaints professionally
  • comply with food safety and sanitation practices and HACCP standards
  • monitor and promote safety guidelines and report concerns to management

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in food service or customer service preferred
  • leadership or supervisory experience an asset
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • basic cash handling and math skills

Job Duties

  • monitor and observe the day-to-day activities of subordinates
  • coordinate breaks for hourly associates
  • keep management informed of area activities and any significant problems
  • complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures
  • coordinate with management for on-the-job training of new associates
  • operate cash register and void transactions as needed while following all cash handling policies and procedures
  • maintain proper security of cash at all times
  • transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • implement product rotation based on product code dates and participate in physical inventory counts
  • resolve customer complaints consistent with company policy and customer satisfaction
  • practice excellent food safety and sanitation practices and comply with HACCP standards
  • monitor compliance with safety guidelines, build awareness about safety, and report safety concerns to management
