The Shift Leader role at Caribou Coffee is a dynamic and integral position within each store, responsible for leading the team and ensuring the highest standards in operations, guest satisfaction, and team engagement. Working closely alongside the General Manager or Assistant General Manager, the Shift Leader takes charge during shifts to align the team around clear goals, expectations, and standards for product quality and store cleanliness. This role requires someone who can masterfully execute team member duties, serve as a motivational leader, and foster an inclusive and inspiring store culture. Shift Leaders are expected to think strategically about sales maximization and waste minimization, maintain a "total store vision," and effectively communicate and delegate priorities to team members. In addition to frontline leadership, this role involves administrative responsibilities such as completing bank deposits, managing inventory, and placing product orders.

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of leadership restaurant retail or customer service experience required or properly trained and approved by Caribou Coffee to take responsibility as a Shift Leader
  • Ability to work at least one of the following early mornings evenings some holidays and or weekends
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
