Job Requirements
- Meet all minimum requirements of the Kitchen Lead role including team member functions
- One or more years of experience in a Shift Leader or Supervisor role
- Experience in fast-paced environments such as restaurant, retail, or hospitality
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining operational standards
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
- Must be able to work at least 30 hours per week
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to make confident decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication skills to foster positive team culture and mentor employees
- Experience in scheduling, coaching, and performance oversight
- Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred
Job Duties
- Support team by stepping into any station during shifts as needed
- Handle first-level customer concerns including allergy assistance and order accuracy
- Oversee multiple tasks including line operations, technology tools, and guest interactions simultaneously
- Communicate clearly to delegate tasks, solve problems, and align team and customer needs
- Monitor food quality, order accuracy, safety protocols, and digital reporting
- Enforce food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and maintain allergen awareness
- Ensure compliance with restaurant policies to maintain a safe environment
- Stay calm and professional during high-pressure or high-volume situations
- Perform essential Kitchen Lead duties including team member functions
