Job Description

The hiring establishment is a branch of KFC Corporation, located at 2702 Broadway, Everett, WA. KFC is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant chain specializing in fried chicken and a wide variety of complementing menu items. As part of the Northwest Restaurants family, this location is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and quality food to its customers. The company has established itself as a leader in the fast-food industry, with a reputation for operational excellence, a commitment to food safety, and a strong company culture that promotes career growth and employee development.

This KFC location is currently seeking a Team Member to support the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) by running great shifts in a self-sufficient way. The Team Member will be responsible for upholding the restaurant's standards of customer service, food quality, and operational efficiency while demonstrating leadership skills and a positive attitude. This full-time position requires the Team Member to take ownership and responsibility to solve problems independently while seeking help when necessary and providing guidance to fellow employees.

The role involves ensuring consistent customer satisfaction through the execution of the Manager-in-Charge (MIC) Success Routine, maintaining a high standard of employee appearance, and ensuring food safety and accuracy in all orders. The Team Member will resolve customer complaints quickly and maintain positive relationships, greet customers warmly, and work with urgency and teamwork. They will monitor and support shift excellence tasks for all team members and help create an energetic and cooperative working environment.

A key part of this position is to manage attendance, adhere to posted work schedules, and maintain punctuality and professionalism. The Team Member must demonstrate initiative by taking action without continuous direction and maintaining high levels of activity. They will participate actively in training other team members, offer constructive feedback, and assist in conflict resolution with support from the RGM.

Additionally, the Team Member will act like an owner by assisting with profit and loss management, following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor costs, and ensuring facility maintenance. They are also responsible for proper food preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times while adhering to health and safety standards. This role typically averages over 30 hours per week, but the hours might vary based on operational needs.

Working as a Team Member at KFC offers an excellent opportunity for those interested in the fast-food industry to develop leadership skills, gain valuable experience, and grow within the company. KFC values an inclusive workplace and provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants regardless of race, gender, age, or other protected statuses. By joining this team, individuals can expect a dynamic work environment where they can contribute positively while building a rewarding career.
