Job Description

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Pass background check and drug test
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to do basic business math
  • Able to stock shelves and coolers
  • Able to oversee and manage subordinate employees and provide direction
  • Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and stooping during 90 percent of shift time
  • Strong preference for internal promotion from Hourly Champion position
  • Must adhere to company uniform and appearance standards
  • Understand and use approved time keeping system accurately

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a customer service or fast food environment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Knowledge of cash handling and inventory management
  • Ability to maintain high food safety standards
  • Proficiency in basic business math
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Positive attitude and team spirit
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and train others
  • Prior experience in restaurant shift management is an advantage

Job Duties

  • Support the Restaurant General Manager by running shifts autonomously
  • Execute MIC Success Routine ensuring responsibilities under people, customers, and service are completed
  • Ensure all team members complete their Shift Excellence tasks
  • Maintain team members’ neat and professional appearance in uniform
  • Demonstrate customer-first mindset with polite and pleasant communication
  • Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and maintain positive relations
  • Work with urgency while cooperating with management and colleagues
  • Provide regular feedback and training support to team members
  • Handle conflicts constructively with management
  • Follow cash control and security procedures assisting profit and loss management
  • Manage inventory and labor effectively
  • Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times
  • Assist with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are followed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
