The Shift Leader role at Angies Food Concepts is a critical position responsible for overseeing daily shift operations within their combined Angies Lobster and Angies Prime drive-thru restaurants. This role demands a proactive leader who can manage a team efficiently, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold stringent food safety and quality standards. The ideal Shift Leader creates a positive, motivating environment while driving operational efficiency during their shift. They act as the frontline manager, balancing multiple responsibilities such as staff training, customer relations, inventory monitoring, and equipment safety.
With a pay rate of $21.51 per hour, the Shift Leader position offers both financial rewards and professional growth opportunities. The role requires standing for over eight hours at a time, operating kitchen equipment like fryers and grills safely, and cross-training for all team positions including opening and closing the restaurant. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous supervisory experience in food service preferred
- knowledge of food safety standards
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- excellent verbal communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the food industry

Job Duties
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the shift
- communicate clearly and effectively with the team
- ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
- handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support
- maintain a clean and organized work environment
- assist with food preparation and handling when necessary
- operate the POS system accurately and efficiently
- coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- adhere to all food safety standards
- monitor inventory levels
- be cross-trained for all positions as well as opening and closing the restaurant
- stand for up 8+ hrs. at a time
- work with fryer, grill and kitchen equipment safely
