The role of the Shift Lead at Mo' Bettahs is a pivotal position designed for individuals who are ready to step into a leadership role with both responsibility and pride. Shift Leads are thoroughly trained in performing all the duties of Team Members, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of the restaurant operations. Beyond these fundamental tasks, Shift Leads take on additional responsibilities to guarantee the smooth operation of each shift. This includes overseeing all aspects of the restaurant in the absence of the General Manager or Manager in Training (MIT), effectively assuming the leadership role for that period. The Shift Lead plays an instrumental part in maintaining compliance with company standards regarding product preparation, delivery, customer relations, restaurant upkeep, and managing team activities.

Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • must have a valid driver’s license
  • must be authorized to work in US
  • ability to see, hear and speak verbally and audibly
  • ability to ascend and descend stairs
  • ability to sit and stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • ability to bend, stoop and kneel
  • ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • ability to work on computer for extended periods
  • ability to manipulate keyboard and mouse
  • may be required to travel for business
  • ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to report to work alert and free from sedatives
  • ability to disclose pharmaceuticals affecting job performance

Job Qualifications

  • must be at least 18 years old

  • restaurant experience preferred
