The Shift Lead position at Capritunes LLC is a critical role within the management team, responsible for operating under the direct supervision of the General Manager and/or Assistant Manager. This part-time role requires an individual who can lead the team to achieve profitability while adhering to the company goals and cultural values. The Shift Lead acts as a liaison between management and team members, ensuring smooth operational flow and upholding standards in all areas, including customer service, food quality, sanitation, and safety.

The role involves delegating duties appropriately among team members to prepare them effectively for guest service. It calls for strong leadership skills to foster a positive, team-oriented work environment, recognizing individual and collective accomplishments that contribute to a motivated staff. A Shift Lead must be experienced in inventory control and labor management to assist in maintaining cost-effective operations. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency required
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Hospitality industry experience preferred
At least 18 years of age
Excellent guest service skills required
Ability to take direction and delegate responsibilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team oriented, adaptable, dependable and strong work ethic
Ability to communicate effectively
Flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Ability to withstand work conditions in temperatures of 0F or less and up to 100F
Ability to move throughout the restaurant for extended periods
Can move 50 pounds for up to 10 feet
Ability to balance and move up to 25 pounds for up to 50 feet

Job Duties

Delegate duties and fairly assign specific tasks to ensure Team Members are prepared for our guests
Contributes to a team environment by recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments
Follow inventory control procedures and guidelines
Follows all Capritunes procedures and operational policies including cash handling, sanitation and safety/security
Assist with labor management costs
Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge to promote the Capritunes values and culture
Demonstrate proficiency in all areas of shop operations to assist where needed during assigned shift
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop and ensure proper set up and breakdown of all areas
Work as a team to prepare for each shift
Manage time effectively while meeting all job responsibilities
Maintain a positive work environment for Team Members and guests during each shift
Greet guests to make them feel welcome and comfortable
Prepare and role model all Capritunes menu items according to standards for quality, consistency and timeliness
Oversee food quality production for quality and standards
Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
