Job Description

Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) is a rapidly expanding franchisee operator of well-known fast-food brands including Taco Bell and Arby's across multiple states such as California, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, and Alaska. Since its establishment in 2012 with a modest portfolio of 30 Taco Bell units, DRG has grown impressively to manage over 240 restaurant locations and employ more than 6,000 team members. This growth highlights DRG's commitment to excellence and its people-first approach, fostering a company culture that values respect, integrity, passion, accountability, commitment, and teamwork. The company prides itself on maintaining a blend of a large company's resources with the personalized feel of a smaller organization, where every employee is considered part of the DRG Family. DRG is known for its dedication to employee development, providing numerous programs such as the DRG Cares Grant Program, education benefits including GED reimbursement and free second language education, and a unique DailyPay program that allows employees to access their paychecks daily. These offerings, among other benefits, support employees through various aspects of their lives, making DRG a desirable place to work and grow.

The Shift Manager role at DRG is a dynamic and integral position designed for motivated and energetic individuals seeking career advancement within a fast-growing company. This role requires a self-sufficient leader who can effectively manage shifts, guide teams, and resolve challenges proactively while maintaining a professional and confident demeanor. Shift Managers are expected to take ownership of their responsibilities, demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, and ensure smooth operations during their shifts. They play a crucial role in upholding company standards around service quality, food safety, and operational procedures. As a Shift Manager, you will lead by example, providing clear and concise instructions to your teams, managing time efficiently, and making sound decisions under pressure. Your leadership will directly contribute to creating a positive work environment where team members feel supported and guests receive outstanding service.

This full-time position offers a competitive starting wage ranging from $14 to $16 per hour based on experience and availability. The compensation package is supplemented by a comprehensive suite of benefits and perks tailored to support the holistic well-being of the employees. Additionally, Shift Managers are responsible for collaborating with other management levels, assisting in profit and loss management, maintaining labor and inventory controls, and providing feedback to Restaurant General Managers regarding team performance. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to work well with others, and a passion for customer service.
