The Shift Lead position at Jimmy John's represents an exciting opportunity for motivated candidates looking to build a career in food service management. As a Shift Lead, you will play a critical role in overseeing shift operations, especially when the General Manager is not present. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure every customer receives world-class service while maintaining high standards in food preparation and store cleanliness.

Shift Leads can expect to start with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $12 to $14 depending on experience and performance. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • position requires bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, repetitive motions, standing and moving about the unit the entire workday
  • willing to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as business dictates

Job Duties

  • Ensures that every customer receives world-class customer service
  • routes deliveries and serves drivers to maximize delivery business and speed within the four walls of the restaurant
  • completes and oversees daily food preparation including opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing, bread production
  • completes and oversees opening and closing procedures
  • executes systems and procedures with 100 percent integrity and completeness, completes daily paperwork as necessary
  • responsible for 100 percent of the cash drawers at all times during the shift
  • displays a sense of urgency in all tasks
