Five Guys Operations LLC is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Shift Leader to join its dynamic restaurant team. This role offers an hourly wage starting at $16.00, plus tips and bonuses, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding hard work and leadership. As a Shift Leader, you will be much more than a supervisor; you’ll be a hands-on leader who directly influences the success of each shift. This position requires stepping in to lead operations when management is not present, ensuring that both staff and guests have the best possible experience.

Additionally, maintaining cleanliness, safety, and adherence to brand standards is critical for this leadership position. Managing shift tasks such as breaks, cash handling, and closing reports will be part of your responsibilities, demonstrating the comprehensive nature of this role. Job Requirements
- Food safety certification (such as ServSafe) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous leadership experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and be active for long periods
- Comfortable working around hot equipment and a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred)
- Basic math and comfort using POS systems
- A team-first mindset with strong communication skills
- Someone who leads by doing—not just directing
- Ability to stay cool and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site
- Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room—no task is too small
- Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience every time
- Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best
- Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture
- Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards
- Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports
